SenseTime Launches AI Flagship School Initiative with Shanghai Huangpu District Education Bureau

(May 7, 2019, Shanghai) SenseTime, a world-leading artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, signed the “Artificial Intelligence Education and Teaching Cooperation Framework Agreement” with Shanghai Huangpu District Education Bureau, and developed Shanghai Luwan High School as the pilot AI flagship school. With the construction of AI laboratory and the compilation of "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence" textbooks and teaching materials, SenseTime and Shanghai Huangpu District Education Bureau will carry out cooperation in different areas, and jointly cultivating future AI talents by pushing forward digital transformation of education. At the scene, SenseTime also signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Luwan High School, which was nominated as “SenseTime Experimental High School”, and becomes the school of experimental base for Huangpu District Education Bureau and SenseTime to accelerate the integration between AI and education, and to provide professional guidance on launching AI education in the area.
