SenseTime Brings AI-Powered Smart Entertainment Experience to Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia
May 9, 2022, Saudi Arabia – SenseTime has cooperated with a leading events management company based in Saudi Arabia to transform the 5-month Riyadh Season into a fest of mixed reality, providing AI business intelligence combined with local attractions for this large-scale carnival and creating an immersive experience for tourists.
Riyadh Season is the biggest cultural and entertainment program in Saudi Arabia, which builds on the Saudi Vision 2030 goal of establishing the entertainment industry as a key component of the national economy. This year’s Riyadh Season was held from 20 October 2021 to March 2022 under the slogan #Imagine_More, offering unprecedented opportunities for locals, residents, and visitors to enjoy world-class entertainment and activities across 14 themed zones all over the city.
SenseTime provided ultimate experience for tourists by bringing augmented reality (AR) views to different themed zones.

The AR tourist guide also provided visitors with a more convenient, affordable, and exciting tour guide experience, further supporting the digital tourism strategy of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Tourism, which aims to position the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the global leader in digital tourism.
